As I am selling my property, he suggested that I swap the older front doorknob lock to the back garage door and install the new doorknob lock on the front door. I hadn't thought of doing this so Arty was very helpful in suggesting this to me. My front door now looks perfect with the new doorknob lock installed and Arty took time to adjust this lock, so that it worked perfectly with the other separate dead lock above, that is on the same door. He even kindly returned afterwards to readjust the new door know lock slightly so that it was tight in the door frame. I highly recommend Arty and Nonstop Locksmiths to anyone needing a locksmith.

In the heady, desperate world of needing a locksmith, reviews mean everything... so I am here to tell you this guy is legit!!! Timely, professional, reasonable, honest. I rarely sign into my real name account to post reviews, but I feel it is the least I could do after Arty bailed me out of a nightmare situation: house/catsitting alone, unfamiliar suburb, no spare keys, phone battery at 8%, an hour from home, car keys also locked inside...Arty just happened to be in the area and generously took the time out to do a little detour - one small trip for a locksmith, one giant crisis averted for a helpless soul. Sure, any locksmith in the area could've done that. But here's why Arty gets my full recommendation.Upfront costs. Upfront about timing. Professional, friendly and straightforward on the phone. Accurate ETA. Explained everything as he was doing it, BUT DID NOT TRY TO UPSELL AND STUCK TO THE VERY REASONABLE PRICE QUOTED ON THE PHONE - even though it was a slightly trickier lock and he knew I was desperate. Checked the lock just to be sure. Was not at any moment condescending or gruff as is often the case with tradesmen dealing with women. Payment was easy and we were done in 5 minutes. In the heady, desperate world of needing a locksmith, reviews mean everything... so I am here to tell you this guy is legit!!! Timely, professional, reasonable, honest. I rarely sign into my real name account to post reviews, but I feel it is the least I could do after Arty bailed me out of a nightmare situation: house/catsitting alone, unfamiliar suburb, no spare keys, phone battery at 8%, an hour from home, car keys also locked inside...Arty just happened to be in the area and generously took the time out to do a little detour - one small trip for a locksmith, one giant crisis averted for a helpless soul. Sure, any locksmith in the area could've done that. But here's why Arty gets my full recommendation.Upfront costs. Upfront about timing. Professional, friendly and straightforward on the phone. Accurate ETA. Explained everything as he was doing it, BUT DID NOT TRY TO UPSELL AND STUCK TO THE VERY REASONABLE PRICE QUOTED ON THE PHONE - even though it was a slightly trickier lock and he knew I was desperate. Checked the lock just to be sure. Was not at any moment condescending or gruff as is often the case with tradesmen dealing with women. Payment was easy and we were done in 5 minutes.
